Okay, it all started on Chinese New Year's eve, which was on Sunday. I got up at around 8.30 in the morning. Did some praying, ate a whole chicken my Mum steamed and left the house around 12 something. I thought we all were going to Muar, I know you are thinking "not Kluang meh?" Yes, but Muar's on the way, we'll pay my grandmother(mom's side) a visit first then only go to my other grandmother's house, which is in Kluang. Where were we? Oh yea, we thought of going to Muar sraight away, but turned out, my Dad wanna do some last minute shopping at Parkson!! I was like, "What?!" He said he wanna buy shoes... I wasn't happy that time, so I decided to make myself happy! Hehe, you know how I did it? I asked my Mum to buy 2 more T-shirts, Bum Equipment. XD! Okay, so after shopping, then only we went to Muar, reached there about 2 pm. There, me and my brothers collected some ang pows. Then, we ate again. Gosh! I was bloated, but I still couldn't resist the temptation of my grandmother's cooking, too delicious. Sat for about 2 hours until 4 pm, then left. We arrived at Kluang around 6 pm, and again, we ate!! What the hell?! My grandmother ordered catering. All the dishes just made my mouth watered!
After eating, we rested awhile. Around midnight, a few of us(cousins) followed our Auntie back to her house for sleepover. We watched some comedy DVD and played the computer. That's Chinese New Year's eve for this year. Here comes the first day of Chinese New Year. We all woke up at around 9 am. We were so excited! Quickly bathed and got dressed into our new clothes that we've bought! Haha! I think all of us wore red, if it's not red,then it's something like red, which was pink. Hehe! We collected our first ang pow of the day, which was my Auntie's. Then we went back to our grandmother's house, and guess what, more ang pows kept pouring in!! ^.^ So we took our breakfast, and secretly went to Secret Recepie. Why secretly you ask? Because my aunt's birthday falls somewhere in March, my cousins would not be on Kluang to celebrate for her, so my cousins wanted to buy her a cake to give her a surprise. Aren't they just good children? And so we went, bought the Banana Chocolate cake, brought it home and gave the surprise. The birthday occassion this time involved people in this family which were born in February and March! Hehe, that means I was in it! XD!
After singing the Birthday song in a few different versions, XD, we cut the cake. Then, distributed the cake, but there were leftovers, so do you know what we did with the leftovers? we ate it just like that! Like "swateng" people... LOL! See how we did it... LOL!
After eating the cake, we were all as full as... erm... hell? LOL! I don't know. Then I went to my cousin's grandfather's house. FYI, I wasn't related to them. Let me explain, my dad's sister's children's father's father. LOL! To make it easier, my aunt's father in law. LOL!! So, I'm not related at all. But still I went there with my super thick skinned face. Well, it paid off... I got 2 ang pows! Hoohoo! One thing made me feel a little regret after going there was they made me drink red wine. You hear me?? I said red wine!! My goodness! Am I even legal for drinking it? Actually yes... XD! I'm already going to be 19 soon. I tasted so bitter. I couldn't take it anymore that I only drank 3 quarters of the glass. Hehe! So, after the visit, we went to MBO to watch movie. We chose to watch something related to CNY, we wanna feel the mood... so we chose All's Well Ends Well. It's a Hong Kong comedy. It's so funny that I LMAO!! You guys should watch it! I love the main female character... she's so funny!
After the movie, we went home feeling tired, we slept like a pig!! XD! Then came the second day. On the second day, nothing much happened in the morning and afternoon. We ate breakfast and lunch, played PS2, gambled, and blah blah blah. When it was evening, my aunt said she wanna watch movie, then I recommanded to watch All's Well Ends Well. Then she said ok.... I followed. I know, go on and say loudly, " WHAT?! Wasting money!" Hehe, I have reasons... Firstly, if I didn't follow, I'll be rusting at home. Secondly, I felt like watching the movie again. Thirdly, even if I followed, I could watch other movies right, like Inked Heart and Underworld 3, but they're all shown at different time. I think I have enough excuses right. Hehe! After watching, we felt a little hungry, so we bought burgers. Mama Mia.. it was delicious. Later we went home.... and slept! The third day, sad, had to leave... so packed everything said goodbye to all my beloved cousins, aunties, uncles, grandmother and my late grandfather. Haiz! That's all, this is how I celebrated mine... LOL! Happy Chinese New Year!
